This issue contained an advertisement to join an Official 3 Stooges Fan Club. This was NOT the Fan Club that has remained in operation from 1974 - today. The ad's club was based out of Mt. Morris, IL, and secured a license from the Stooges' company thru Norman Maurer Productions, but the organizer(s) were unable to keep it going. This club went under after issuing only 3 newsletters and did not follow through with offers made to subscribers.
