In Starlog’s news section, The Round Earth Conspiracy or You Can Fool Some of the People All of the Time… discusses recent [1979] claims by the Flat Earth Research Society that the Earth is flat, not round.  The society uses HAVE ROCKET --- WILL TRAVEL (1959) as their evidence of the type of space programs supported by scientists and NASA.
