Brauer was the Fan Club's special guest for the 1989 Three Stooges Convention in Trevose PA.

Per Brauer, the nickname of 'Tiny' was given to him by Jimmy Durante; Brauer once performed with Durante in a nightclub act.

Brauer, along with Emil Sitka, has the distinction of having costarred with all four lineups of The Three Stooges.
