Dancer and singer, who became a familiar face at the Hal Roach Studios in the mid-1930s. Memorable as 'Mary Roberts' in Laurel & Hardy's WAY OUT WEST (1937), school teacher Miss Lawrence in "Our Gang" (1936 - 1938), and occassionally cast as Charley Chase's wife in his shorts, e.g., ON THE WRONG TREK (1936). Later in life, she married John McCabe, founder of The Sons of the Desert and author of "Mr. Laurel and Mr. Hardy."
