Mr. Television! Star and host of THE TEXACO STAR THEATER on NBC, a comedy and variety showcase, arguably television's first "must see TV" in the late 1940s and early 1950s, popularly noted for its weekly gag of Berle appearing in outrageous ladies' outfits.

The Three Stooges were Milton's guests three times from 1948 - 1950; see TV Guest Appearances.

Berle often noted Ted Healy as his comedy styling inspiration, and ad libbed a dialogue reference/tribute to Healy in his 1948 feature film LEAVE 'EM LAUGHING.
