Footnotes:
The story featuring Robert Merrill's career features a sequence with Moe, Larry and Curly. Per various accounts by Merrill, he briefly worked onstage with the Stooges at Grossinger's Country Club in the Catskills, circa 1942. Although depicted in this comic book, Merrill's recollection remains in question... there is no record of the Stooges playing that upstate NY mountain resort, and in the early 1940s, they were years past playing smaller venues like that.
Fred Guardineer is the artist for the Robert Merrill story
