Footnotes:
In 1966, Western began placing Gold Key comic books in retailers via its distribution subsidiary K. K. Publications, packaging five comics in a plastic bag with a small discount off the newsstand price; Woolworth was one of the most prominent sellers of the bagged sets. A short-lived 1967 variation of this took some of Western's best sellers, retitled them Top Comics; and each issue's content was identical to a Gold Key newsstand version.
