Featuring Shemp Howard (Solo)
66 min. (Feature Film)
A mysterious avenger known as Dr. Rx is killing criminals who have been acquited in court. Police Captain Hurd (Edmund MacDonald) and his bumbling assistant Sgt. Sweeney (Shemp Howard) ask Private Investigator Jerry Church (Patric Knowles) to help them on the case. Church reunites with his girlfriend Kit Logan, the two marry, and their honeymoon turns into investigative confusion involving an acquited and murdered gangster, kidnapping and the mystery of a policeman frightened into a coma.
In addition to Shemp Howard, comedy relief is provided by Mantan Moreland as Church's butler.
