Featuring Shemp Howard (Solo)
78 min. (Feature Film)
Ace Green comic strip artist Bill Harrison (Allyn Joslyn) and his author wife Jacqueline (Evelyn Keyes) are also amateur sleuths, much to the annoyance of police Lieutenant Washburn (Edgar Buchanan). At a society banquet event, Dr. Baumler, the physician at an upstate German POW camp, dies and Harrison insists it's murder by poison. The Harrisons, the skeptical Washburn and his bumbling assistant Sgt. Erwin are on the case, and all uncover a web of espionage involving Germans who've fled their Nazi-ruled homeland, and Axis agents.
Shemp Howard appears as the Harrisons' myopic, dim-witted laundry man.
