Featuring Moe, Larry and Shemp
90 min. (Feature Film)
LAFF HOUR offered shorts from throughout the 1932-1956 Columbia short subject library. Theatres were given the opportunity to build their own program. Available comedies included The Three Stooges, Andy Clyde, Eddie Quillan and Wally Vernon, Joe Besser, Vera Vague, Hugh Herbert, Roscoe Karns, El Brendel, Schilling and Lane, Harry Von Zell, Buster Keaton, Tom Kennedy, Billy Gilbert, Joe DeRita, Sterling Holloway, Leon Errol, Walter Catlett, Billie Burke, George Givot, Cliff Nazarro, and others.
While the Stooges do appear on the 1-sheet provided for the compilation, there was no guarantee that a Stooge comedy would actually screen in LAFF HOUR. Each theater's program differed. Also, although Shemp is featured on the 1-sheet, it was possible that a Curly short could be on the bill.
The only LAFF HOUR film footage created by Columbia was a special title leader, and a trailer.
