Featuring Shemp Howard (Solo)
63 min. (Feature Film)
State Police detective Norman Craig and his partner go undercover in the penetentiary, investigating inmate suspects for an unsolved, six-month-old bank robbery. Craig uses the identity of a deceased inmate, Red Murray, and things go horribly wrong when his undercover partner is murdered in his cell. Complications abound when Sheila Murray arrives to visit her "brother," and she finds herself in the web of undercover deception. When Craig plays the robbery suspects against each other to find his partner's killer, he and Sheila are unexpectedly caught up in a prison break plot.
Shemp Howard appears briefly in a couple scenes as a mess hall trustee.
