Featuring Shemp Howard (Solo)
21.4 min. (Short Subject)
Two goofball sailors find themselves mixed up with a golddigger, as does their CPO. Unfortunately, her gun wielding husband isn't too happy about it. But that doesn't stop them from continuing their night on the town, flirting with all the girls in a nightclub while wearing a uniform they "borrowed" from their Captain.
Shemp Howard appears briefly as a nightclub patron impressed by the sailors' luck with girls.
This previously undocumented Shemp Howard credit was discovered in early 2013. Two archivists at The Library of Congress, Larry Smith and George Willeman, discovered this Shemp appearance while doing research on the short's star Olive Borden. A detailed report on the discovery appears in The Three Stooges Journal # 146 (Summer 2013).
