Scrappy and a friend take their toy pirate ships to the lily pond, and watch the toy pirates come to life and wage war on each other, amidst music and dance.
The pirates are caricatures of Hollywood celebrities: The Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, W. C. Fields, The Marx Brothers, Charles Laughton, Wallace Beery, Joe E. Brown, Charles Butterworth, Jimmy Durante, Bing Crosby, Al Jolson and Fred Astaire.
