Featuring Ted Healy (Solo)
71.5 min. (Feature Film)
Sam Colt, a nationally famous journalist, is on assignment in 1927 Paris covering the arrival of Lindbergh's flight. Protege Pat Wells has been doing most of Colt's work, while Colt rides along on his name, past accomplishments, and World War I record. Sam joins the press corps on Lindbergh's trip back to the States, leaving Pat to romance Sam's jilted fiance Julie Bell. Sam is reported killed on assignment in China, and Pat and Julie move forward with their wedding plans. Until, Colt turns up alive.
Ted Healy costars as the owner and bartender of the reporters' "Americanized" hangout.
An adaptation of S. J. and Laura Perelman's play, ALL GOOD AMERICANS.
