Featuring Ted Healy and His Stooges
100 min. (Feature Film)
A compilation of Ted Healy & His Stooges short subjects: NERTSERY RHYMES (1933), BEER AND PRETZELS (1933), PLANE NUTS (1933), THE BIG IDEA (1934), and the Curly solo ROAST-BEEF & MOVIES (1934).
FESTIVAL was distributed for theatrical late shows and repertory engagements. MGM/UA discovered these five shorts in their vaults in early 1983, after several decades out-of-circulation, and released them in this compilation format to publicize the discovery. The Three Stooges Journal #23 (July - August 1983) published United Artists' press release of the discovery.
